Kate & Matt ~ Expecting

This past weekend I had the chance to capture our friends Kate & Matt's pregnancy in their final weeks. With some moderate temperatures though lack of sun it was a great winters day for some photos. After hiking through the snow for a little bit we ended our session with a beautiful view and a serious hill trek. I truly enjoyed our time together and can't wait to meet their new little one in the coming weeks.

Baby Hailey

This past weekend I had the opportunity to spend some time with Ashley, Brad and their new baby girl. Just over two weeks old this baby girl was already so alert. She was never happier than to be cuddled in mommy's arms, where you could tell she was oh so loved. After starting off the session with a few quick z's we were wide awake and ready to snuggle into any setting she was put in. After playing with baskets and cases for a while this little angel was ready for some snuggles. We woke up daddy and captured a few images of this new little family doing what they do best. Cuddling, smiling and sharing in the joy of their sweet new addition. 

Thank you for allowing me to spend some time with your adorable little family. I can only hope I get the opportunity to see this sweet little one again when she is older! 

Meghan & Micheal ~ Expecting

This past weekend I met with Meghan, Micheal and their adorable little boy Cooper at Dundurn Castle to capture some photos of Meghan's beautiful pregnancy. The weather had warmed up significantly from Saturday but still had a chill to the air. Even with the typical Canadian weather this whole family rocked their maternity session. After spending some time with this family I had a hard time not stealing the adorable Cooper for myself, he was such a good boy and was a little ham for the camera. 

After spending some time touring the Hamilton landmark we decided to call it a day. I cannot wait to spend some more time with this family when their new little one arrives in a few short weeks. Thank you for allowing me to be part of such a special time in your life and I wish you all the best in everything that life brings you. See you soon!

Jennifer & Spencer ~ Engagement

This past weekend I had the opportunity to spend some time with this fantastic couple. Both in love with the hustle and bustle of the city and city life we decided to capture some of their favourite things on Saturday with a trip to Wilson street and a drink at one of their favourite pubs Coach & Lantern. 

After enduring twenty minutes of freezing outside (and I mean frost bite nipping at your fingers freezing) like champs we decided to head down to the pub so these two could take a few minutes to warm up by the fireplace. Many thanks to the helpful staff at Coach & Lantern for accommodating us for a few minutes of madness, especially after a full house for the band that played Saturday afternoon. 

I had a great time with the two of you and can't wait for your August wedding. It is guaranteed to be a blast, and if we have any luck much, much warmer! Thank you both for being amazing outside in our crazy Canadian weather, and for providing Ancaster residents with some much needed afternoon entertainment! 

Tamara & Les ~ Expecting

This past weekend I had the opportunity to meet with Tamara and Les at the beautiful, scenic Websters Falls' in Dundas. When we arrived Mother Nature greeted us with some brisk temperatures, but with some running about and taking coats on and off these two braved the chill like champions. Due in just a short six weeks with their first child these two were a perfect pair. They laughed together, froze together and quite apparently loved together. They kept each other in their warm embrace and were always ready to share a kiss. From sitting in weeds and getting burs stuck to us they were up for anything. It's obvious these two are a perfect match and will no doubt be awesome parents. I can't wait to meet your newest addition and capture the love you share.  Thank you for allowing me to capture these precious moments. Here are a few images from our time together.
