This past weekend I had the honour of capturing a few hours of Dee & Sergio's gorgeous backyard wedding.
Surrounded by their closest family and friends Dee & Sergio tied the knot under the loving eyes of their four children.
Having been together for twelve years it was easy to see how close knit of a family they have become. The joining of these two families took place not just this weekend but many many years ago.
You can tell that their love is a comfortable one, one that lights the eyes in both of these wonderful people and blankets anyone who surrounds them and it was an absolute pleasure to spend a few short hours capturing the love that surrounds this home.
When I arrived at their home everyone was in a casual manner of mingling. Drinks were in hand, laughter filled the air and love was evident everywhere that you looked. As the girls got ready upstairs the handsome groom laughed and loved with family downstairs.
The look in the eyes of Dee & Sergio as they parted to get dressed was one of excitement and pleasure, such as their day would be.
After a lovely walk around their property with their children and partners in tow it was time to witness the beautiful simplistic ceremony that would bond them in love.
As their children stood by their side there was not a dry eye in the house. Even as Sergio promised to cherish and protect (which came alot sooner than imagined as bee's swarmed them through-out, making for a few moments of comic relief) Dee.
Within a gorgeous reception set inside of the tent perched beside their beautiful pond, every small detail came together with perfection.
With a small gathering of close family and friends arriving after the ceremony I can only imagine the wonderful night that this wonderful couple had ahead of them as feeling of peace and joy fell quietly across their home.
