Tony & Lorraine ~ Married {Full Post}

This past Saturday I had the chance to photograph a good friend and his lovely fiancee's wedding. I met Tony when we both worked at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, and when he asked me if I would photograph his wedding I'm not sure if I was more nervous or excited but when I met Lorraine I knew the day was going to be fun! This couple is such a perfect match and you can see how totally head over heels in love with each other. Starting off the day I went to see the Groom and his groomsmen.

After spending some time with the boys it was time to go check out the bridal preparations. When we got there curlers were hot, rollers were rolled and make up was ready to be put into place. Here's a few shots of the bride's beautiful bouquet and shoes as well as the bridal bouquets.

It was no surprise with such a lovely bride with beautiful adornments that Lorraine would be simply stunning when she went to walk down the isle. I loved the beautiful traditional style of Lorraine's dress, woven into a lace pattern it only helped to accentuate Lorraine's beauty.

After a little more preparation all the bridesmaids were ready for some formal portraits.

After snapping a few shots of these super nice and humorous girls it was time to head to the parents so Tony could see how beautiful his bride looked. When first look was over there wasn't a dry eye in the house. Their love for one and other truly shined for everyone to see.

Finally it was time to head to the Dundas Air Force Club for the part of the day everyone had been anxiously awaiting, the ceremony. I love this picture of Tony just moments before the wedding as you can see every emotion on his face from pure excitement to a tad of nervousness.

When Lorraine entered the ceremony she was just as excited and nervous as he. As her dad escorted her to her groom it seemed they could not go fast enough. Just the sight of Tony put a big smile on the bride's face, and everyone was ready to begin.

When the ceremony had finished everyone could feel the love shimmering in the air as Tony and Lorraine beamed at each other in their first moments of marriage.

   With speeches done and the cake cut it was time for some dancing and fun.

Thank you once again Tony & Lorraine for allowing me to be part of your beautiful wedding. You are truly a wonderful couple. All the best in the future.
