Shannon & Shawn ~ Norfolk Golf and Country Club Wedding

This weekend I had the honour of spending a few special hours with Shannon & Shawn on their big day.

Blessed by Bailey and Jarred these two became united as one to become a beautiful family.

Everything was perfectly planned by Shannon who looked absolutely stunning and I'm sure took Shawn's breath away. All of the details gave you the cozy feeling of fall, though the trees outside had taken a less than co-operative approach and remained green as fresh as the love between Shannon & Shawn. 

With a lovely group of family and friends in tow they said they're vows on the first tee of the Norfolk Golf and Country Club in a ceremony as beautiful as the two themselves.

I hope you are enjoying every moment of your honeymoon, and once again thank you for the honour of allowing me to capture a few hours of your special day.

As a couple who truly enjoy remaining a wonderful beam of light in the background I truly believe you both shined beautifully in the spotlight. (As did these three turkeys whose dancing made me burst with giggles) 

Christine & Brandon - Caledonia Engagement Session

This past weekend I got to spend some time with Christine & Brandon to capture some images of their engagement in their beautiful hometown of Caledonia. 

Arriving at the Grand River Mill looking like picture perfect models ( ugh Christine, I'm still totally in love with your dress!) we began their session with their beautiful Rottweiler Roman. 

After some photos at the mill, and a wonderfully co-operative Roman we headed to the Caledonia train station before finishing up at the towns landmark Grand River. 

Thank you both for being so amazing! It was an absolute pleasure to work with you and I can't wait for your gorgeous July 2014 wedding!

Sarah & Thanasi ~ Country Chic Wedding

This past Saturday I was honoured to spend the day capturing this wonderful couples' nuptials.

 

Sarah & Thanasi are the definition of soul-mates. Partners. Other halves.

In their presence there can be no doubt of their love for one another as they snuck giggles in during the ceremony, abashed kisses during their first dance and were forever wrapped in an abundance of bear hugs.  

 

From the first time I met Sarah & Thanasi I knew their wedding would be absolute bliss.

Everything was perfect. From the beautifully handmade decorations Sarah created to the absolute love that surrounded them everywhere they went, I could not imagine a better way to spend this gorgeously overcast Saturday.

 

From the moment I arrived at the reception area to capture the details the groomsmen were so carefully and perfectly setting up, to the late hours of the afternoon around the bonfire where the guests relaxed and ate smores, everything flowed with such a casual grace that it felt you were spending the day at a picnic, with beautiful scenery and amazing people. Exactly the relaxed elegance this couple had so planned for.
